FILM & PHOTOGRAPHY
"Noisey" Season 2, Episode 5, full video available on Viceland
"Halt and Catch Fire" Season 3, Episode 10, details available on AMC
The Howard House provides a stunning and inspiring backdrop for film and photography shoots with spectacular natural light, high ceilings and grand proportions, varied spaces, and sumptuously finished surfaces. We have served as a location for a diverse array of projects ranging from editorial shoots to major motion pictures, and are accustomed to supporting the particular needs involved.
The historic main house is nearly 6,000 square feet and crowns an acre and a half of secluded property. The back yard and spacious rooms are large enough to easily be transformed into sets, control centers, storage, etc.
While The Howard House's 125-year-old architecture was incredibly well preserved and expertly restored, all of the major systems have been recently and robustly updated. The main dwelling additionally boasts a top-of-the-line open chef's kitchen with an open wall -ideal for shooting cooking shows and the like. The blend of antiquity with contemporary amenities suits period pieces and modern films alike in the same location.
Finally, given the immense overhead of all the moving parts for cast and crew, the central location and "film-friendly" nature of the historic Kirkwood neighborhood (just 3 miles from downtown Atlanta) makes The Howard House an outstanding location for film.
Additionally, we can provide short or long-term housing for cast or crew.
"Necessary Roughness" Season 3, Episode 6, produced by USA Network
